51% of Central Florida working adults are a $400 crisis away from homelessness at any given moment in Orange and Seminole counties.For 30 years Christian HELP has been showing people how to avoid homelessness and crisis of multiple kinds, through their personalized action plans, coaching services, and group classes. There are many people in your community that are on the verge of being on the side of the road with a sign, or living on a friend’s sofa, or sleeping in their car, if Christian HELP doesn’t intervene and show them a way to keep the worst from happening. That’s why in addition to their employment and increasing income services, Christian HELP also gives away 50lb. boxes of food every day. In a year, that’s a million pounds of meat, poultry, fruits, vegetables, canned goods and more to senior adults, veterans, single moms, men in recovery, underemployed parents, and anyone hungry, or in need of a way to reduce their expenses so they can pay their rent. Christian HELP cares about the children of struggling moms and dads too which is why they provide a free shopping experience for parents to select toys for their children that would otherwise go without at Christmas time.
